For years now, maybe 8 or more I have witnessed humming birds mating in one area of the yard consistently. Of course they mate in other areas here also, but there does seem to be one favorite spot. We are pounding, sawing and making lots of noise with the addition of a deck, sliding door and larger window. And through it all the humming birds the last two days have been answering the call of nature, not 10 feet from or destruction/construction area.
