I spent a while at Brackett's Landing Park in Edmonds this morning and
watched two adult Glaucous-winged Gulls at the shoreline. One was fully standing
(balancing) on the back of the other for several minutes. I would think this
would be hard to do with webbed feet. I can't seem to find courting or mating
behavior references for this so I was wondering if this is a common behavior
for this species?

Thanks,
