Tweets,

At the Montlake Fill over lunch today, there were two(!) Yellow-
headed Blackbirds feeding at the edge of the flooded grassy pool
north of the s.w. pond. This is the stretch of water that comes
right up to the west parking lot. They both appeared to be young
males as opposed to females due to a lack of belly streaking and
a strong black eye line. Be interested to hear others thoughts
on this as I only got to study one of them in any detail. Neither
bird matched the original Yellow-headed found earlier in the
season.

Ran into Matt Bartels and Mary Frances Mathis just then and
pointed out the blackbirds. Soon afterward, both birds dropped
out of sight behind some willows.

None of us had any luck finding the Eastern Kingbird today as of
about 12:30 pm, but the sunny weather, blackbirds, and two separate
pairs of Cinnamon Teal provided good consolation.
