This is 85 percent off topic for a birders list but worth the effort.
This link is to the Sand Castles contest at Harrison Lake, B. C.
Be sure to go to pages 2 and 3. I suggest a high speed internet
connection but is really worth the effort, IMHO, for a modem.

I also suggest you check out the index pages where you will see a few
interesting birding links (Reifel for Sandhills and such,
Westham Island for Snow Geese (near Reifel), Sardis Lake for Mute Swans
and such, etc,). The other links are more
commercial in nature.

For those who don't know, Harrison Lake is east of Vancouver
about 1 hour. Chilliwack, as listed in the index, is just off the Trans
Canada Hwy 1 and is the gate to Harrison.
