Hi Tweets...This morning I received a call from a fellow board member of
Grays Harbor Audubon, Jan Strong, to tell me she had received a call from a
couple who live nearby and had also seen the Caracara...at milepost 29 on
Hwy 12. The mailbox out front of a nearby house gives the address as 5989
State Route 12. Jan is double-checking the date they saw it...and the
spelling of their last name for record purposes. They knew what it was and
tried to contact several people to let them know; too bad they didn't call
the Washington Birdbox!

Jan went looking for the bird Tuesday but was unable to find it. She also
said traffic is definately hazardous in the area...no places to really pull
off the highway.
