Hello again....the couple who saw the Caracara called back and said they saw
it at 2:30pm on Monday the 29th, the day after the original sighting.

Also in a new e-mail from Keith Brady, he said there is a road-killed deer
in the brush on the shoulder of Hwy 12, ".4 miles past the C line away from
Porter".

Maybe this bird can be coaxed into staying around!
