12:10 end

Tweeters,
Thin clouds casting overcast with thicker moving in; warm, slightly
humid; with cottonwood seeds floating on a mild north breeze at Turning
Basin #3. Had more mammals than just the visiting harbor seal today: 5
UW Fisheries folk were taking samples at the restoration peninsula. When
they left, the crows and gulls moved in closer, foraging in the
footprints in the mud.

Both the Hamm Creek and Oxbow Ospreys were tight on their respective
nests. I think the Hamm Creek eggs should be hatching soon.

Bird of the Day: Yellow Warbler - singing and then visible across the
water in the trees on the south bank. First for the year here. (A
Northern Flicker was sounding off nearby the warbler.)
