Hi,
Well, I think there is a new female for my male Pileated. She is much friendlier than the old one. This past summer I had no family come and visit, he always came alone. This past weekend he started showing up with a female. They are always together. She doesn't chase the flickers out of the yard! The last female, didn't care if starlings ate at the same log as her, but would chase Hairies and Flickers all the way across the street! Maybe he got tired of her nagging and hired the Bald Eagles to take her out!
