CBC time is coming and anyone looking for an interesting count might check out the Vashon count. It includes all of Vashon-Maury Island and parts of Pierce and Kitsap Counties along Colvos Passage. All of the territories have a good selection of water and land birds. Each part usually has some good surprises. This message just came out from Sue Trevathan, the Vashon CBC coordinator to last year's counters but potential new observers can use this to contact her as well:
