For future reference, you can call Seattle Animal Shelter at 206-386-PETS (7387).

An animal can be dropped off at the Shelter (which is located in Interbay between Magnolia and Queen Anne) between noon and 6 pm daily, or an SAS officer can pick it up if necessary.

PAWS Wildlife Center (formerly HOWL) picks up injured wildlife from the Seattle Animal Shelter almost every day. PWC is located in Lynnwood and can be reached at 425-787-2500 ext 817. They have a full service facility with a veterinarian and staff that specialize in wildlife, as well as providing non-medical rehab.

Cheers

Someone just called into the Nature Shop here because a "hawk" just ran into her window. It's still alive and needs to be taken to a wildlife rehabilitator. She is 77 years old and she can't drive. She was hoping that someone could come by to pick it up. Is anyone able to do this ASAP?

If you are able to help, please call her at
