This afternoon at the River S Unit of Ridgefield NWR in Clark County I came
across a male EURASIAN WIGEON in a flock of several hundred American Wigeon
in the SE part of Rest Lake. On the pond south of the road between the
parking areas for the blind and the Kiwa Trail was a single GREATER
WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE in a flock of Canada and Cackling Geese and other
waterfowl.

NORTHERN HARRIERS and RED-TAILED HAWKS were the most abundant raptors,
although raptor activity seemed low, presumably due to the relatively heavy
(for this area, at least) rain. I saw only one BALD EAGLE -- an adult
perched south of the blind.

I also observed several Dusky Canada Geese with neck bands -- white
lettering on red neck bands. Does anyone know to whom I should report these
birds?
