Hello All,
Today we birded Washtucna, Lyons Ferry, Lyons Ferry Marina and Palouse
Falls. Birds of note are.........

EURASIAN-COLLARED DOVE............18 birds-this is the largest number we
have ever seen at this location or anywhere in this state. These doves were
all in one flock.
Varied Thrush.............................................4 birds at
Washtucna
Merlin..........................................................1 bird
Sharp-shinned Hawk.....................................1 bird
Barn Owl......................................................2 birds
Bewicks Wren..............................................1 bird

Palouse Falls

Am. Goldfinch...............................................45 birds
Prairie Falcon.................................................2 birds along
the highway
Golden Eagle..................................................1 bird at road
killed mule deer
Common Raven...............................................24 birds on road
kill


Lyons Ferry

Chukar.......................................3 birds
Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch..........3 birds
Marsh Wren................................4 birds
Great Horned Owl.......................1 bird
