Birded a bit around Sequim over the weekend, on Sunday morn with 'ol Bob B.
Highlights included:

SNOW GOOSE 2 (11/5 Willet's pond just east of Three Crabs, infrequent in
Clallam Co, apparently at site over last week)
Trumpeter Swan 2 (11/5 Schmuck Rd, other arrivals in last week)
Barrow's Goldeneye 5 (FOS, 11/4 John Wayne Marina)
Merlin-3, Peregrine-3 (11/5)
Va Rail 3 Willet's pond answered tape 11/5
LB dowitchers--impressive lingering with flocks at 3 sites; gives hope for
upcoming CBC
RED PHALAROPE 1 (11/4 afternoon, far off Port Williams SP through scope)
Bonaparte's Gull 2 (11/4 John Wayne Marina, scarce on Sequim Bay this year)
Am. Pipit 1 Graysmarsh public access 11/4
N. Shrike--good flight so far, singles Schmuck Rd, Grays edge
YR Warbler--still plenty at Carrie Blake Park 11/5
W. Meadowlark 35+ (Schmuck Rd)
BH Cowbird 1 (Port Williams Rd)

Finally, Bob and I had an oddball buteo that research suggests was a
light-intermediate morph adult HARLAN'S type Red-tailed HAWK, near the old
skylark spot west of the Dungeness River along the main road. The bird was
lighter on the breast than one associates with the light-morph, but
specialty literature indicates there and not just light and dark morphs, but
five distinct forms and some variation between them, which was news for me.
Harlan's occur much less often in Clallam Co than on the wWA mainland.
Also, Bob reports that Anna's Hummers are up in numbers lately.
