Hello All,
This morning while birding around Bennington Lake east of Walla Walla Rodger
Shoemake, Carolyn Corvino and I discovered a basic plumaged American Avocet
(photographed). This is our latest date for this shorebird species in Walla
Walla County. We also located one Greater Yellowlegs, one Least Sandpiper
and two American Tree Sparrows. A very good morning in the field.
