On Nov. 3 I posted an email from my brother in MN about over 100 coots being stranded on ice in a lake which had frozen over night. He reported Bald Eagles being attracted and killing the coots. At about 10 a.m. he said there were 23 Bald Eagles and 70 coots.

He sent a follow up today that said by 2 p.m. there were over 50 Bald Eagles on the ice and no more coots.
