Tweets,
Sorry for the late post. Sunday while on a Central Basin Audubon Field Trip
we were watching the Lesser Black-backed Gull at Blue Lake in Grant County.
Some of the group observed what appeared to be an Iceland Gull. I went back
on Monday to look for the bird again and did not re-find it. Since I was not
certain I did not report it at that time as it was not re-found. Unbeknownst
to us one of the trip participants had managed to get a photo of the bird
which is fairly definitive.
I know this is late, but in light of the new photo it would pay to watch
for this bird if you happen to be in the area.
Again, I apologize for the late post and can only accept the inevitable "I
wish you would have posted earlier" comments.
Cheers
Doug Schonewald
