The folks at Ridgefield do not currently have a method
for selling annual parking passes on weekends.

You recall that fees began in early October ($3/Day or
$15/Year)

Currently be purchased:
1) In person on week days only at the HQ up at the
Carty Unit
2) Mail in for them using data obtained on their web
site at:
sitehttp://www.fws.gov/ridgefieldrefuges/RNWRRecFee.htm

OR
If you cannot get there on a week day
OR
If you cannot wait for one to be mailed to you

3) At the Volunteer Booth at the entrance to the
River ?S? Unit is a box with daily registration
envelopes that need to be filled out by all visitors.
Take an envelope and instead of paying $3, pay the
full $15 annual fee and mark the envelope accordingly.
ALSO you need to write your name and mailing address
for the staff to mail the annual pass to you.

If you return added times before receiving your annual
pass, complete another envelope (this will be done by
all of us each time we visit, annual pass or not), but
put no money in the envelope. Merely check annual
pass and add your name and address and a note that you
previously paid and are waiting for your annual pass
to be mailed to you.

A bit cumbersome, but easy enough until other methods
may be put in place.
