Subject: [Tweeters] Pelican & Jaeger at Luhr Beach, Thurston County

Hi all, I spent a couple hours scanning the waters off Nisqually reach this
afternoon and turned up a jaeger and a Brown Pelican. I was able to watch
the jaeger for quite some time as it harassed Bonaparte's Gulls and rested
on the water. Though rather distant, it appeared to be a non-adult light
morph Parasitic. Lots of birds out there, including several hundred Western
Grebes; more than I've seen in one spot in the south Sound in quite a number
of years. As usual, a scope is a necessity at this location.
