Hi Tweeters,

I sent several Cackling Goose photos I took last Wednesday at Park
Lake, Grant County (Sun Lakes State Park), to Steve Mlodinow. He
sent them to several knowledgeable people. They all think one of the
geese was a Richardson's Cackling Goose (Branta hutchinsii
hutchinsii), the first documented in Washington. Photos of it, along
with Taverner's Cackling Goose and Lesser Canada Goose at in the new
photos folder on my website.
