Hello All,
Yesterday an adult Red-naped Sapsucker showed up in the Shoemakes southeast
Walla Walla yard-getting very late for this species in this area. This
morning MerryLynn and I walked the sparrow patch along Sudbury Rd. north of
College Place and discovered a sub-adult Harris' Sparrow and a sub-adult
Northern Shrike along with 150+ White-crowned Sparrows. Sunny, cool, clear
and light winds made for a nice walk.
Later Mike
