Funny you should mention the owls leaving or the end of the attacks on
humans; I had a pair of Barred Owls in my yard every day for about 3 weeks
up until last week when the calling ceased, and I have not seen an owl
since. One or the other often sat out in the daylight in plain sight...now,
nothing.
