The bird was still at the north end of Building 11 late this afternoon (4
p.m.) following the directions given by Dennis Paulson. However, when you
walk behind Building 11 the bird has been working a triangular area at the
very north end of the "alley" where it opens onto the shoreline. It was
flying between three evergreen trees on the east, to snowberries and low
shrubs along Sand Point Way on the west and then south to a hillside covered
with blackberry bushes. Very vocal and active. Big thanks to Perri Lynch,
who first spotted the bird from her studio in Building 11, and helped me
find it again late this afternoon.
