Hi all,
Early this afternoon I located a ROCK WREN at the beach access, on
Indian Island, just before you cross onto Marrelstone Island. There is a
parking area on the right, in the woods, and some makeshift stairs leading to the
beach. The bird was in the driftwood, about 20 feet from the base of the
stairs on the right of the beach path. A good series of "pishes" should bring
the bird out along with some Winter Wrens. Interestingly, this is the second
Rock Wren I have had in Jeff Co this year, the other being sometime in early May
at Shine SP.
