Friday afternoon, Nov. 24, a quick stop at the Washougal Sewage
Lagoons at milepost 17.8 on Highway 14 produced a female LONG-TAILED DUCK
and an EARED GREBE. The Long-tailed Duck is only the second county record
that I am aware of, the birds were easily visible from the shoulder of
the highway.
