A bobcat has been reported several times in the past six
weeks in Reintree (Woodinville-Duvall rd and Avondale rd) east of
Woodinville.

Along those lines, I think we have in irruption of bobcats. I have had one
in my yard 5 times in the past couple weeks (unincorporated Redmond). A
buddy of mine has had them in unincorporated Carnation aa number of times as
well during this period (including a mother and cub together). Always when
I don't have the camera ready, though :(

A friend of mine spotted a bobcat along Taylor Road outside of Oak Harbor ,
the 1st confirmed Whidbey Island big cat that I recall. There was a
reported mountain lion on the south end a few years ago that was never
confirmed. I?m having my friend write up the details for the State folks.
There have also been a couple of porcupines sighted recently. An irruption
of porcupines? A pin cushion of porcupines? A pricking?
