On Thursday I birded my way from Seattle to a family Thanksgiving in Bellingham. Below are a few birds I saw throughout the weekend.

Barn Swallow - 11/23 on Fir Island Skagit County
Snowy Owl - 11/24 and 11/25 in Blaine, Whatcom County; perched on the breakwater at the marina
Sandhill Crane - 11/24; there are 6 at Reifel Refuge in BC; it's a great opportunity to photograph Sandhill Cranes
Gyrfalcon - 11/24 at Boundary Bay from the end of 88th Street near Ladner; an adult gray morph
