Hello All,

This morning MerryLynn and I went birding in the western end of Walla Walla
County. Under a bright sun we arrived at the Walla Walla River delta and
discovered McNary Pool was down by three feet exposing a vast mud flat.
Birds of note were............

Dunlin.......3 birds
Coopers Hawk......1 ad. male

McNary NWR-Iverson Rd.

Canada Geese........1200 Lessers-very short necked birds.
ROSS' GOOSE......1 Ad. This is odd as we normally see this species in March
and April. This is number 236 for this years sightings list in WW Co..
Black-crowned Night -Heron.....3 birds
Great Blue Heron....................21 birds

McNary NWR-Casey Pond

Tundra Swan...................74 birds
