A quick check at Ridgefield NWR on Monday noted 2 Short-eared Owls, 1
Harlan's Red-tailed Hawk, and 1 White-tailed Kite.

On Tuesday noted 1 imm. Snow Goose near entrance, 2 Cinnamon Teal males
still in bright feathering, 2 White-tailed Kites, 1 American Bittern
crossing the road in front of me with neck stretched out and head down
looking like a long necked Giant Rail. Strange looking behavior. Always
lots of Red-tailed Hawks, Kestrels, and Northern Harriers, but could not
relocate the Prairie Falcon yet.
