Strange you should mention it....I had a house wren at my workplace in
Freeland, South Whidbey Island, WA this morning. First one I've seen on
Whidbey.

It's interesting to see what the cold weather brings out.

Subject: [Tweeters] Very late house wren

Hi,

I just went into our greenhouse to check for frozen water pipes and
found what I am fairly sure was a house wren trapped inside. ( Or maybe
it liked the warmer temp) It was definitely Not a Bewick's and seemed
to have too long of a tail for a winter wren. Does anyone else have
records of a house wren this late in WA?
