I had a raven at my place in Bothell last Thursday, the second time
in a couple months.

I also looked from the Kingston ferry on both Friday and Saturday and
did not see the eider.

Winds gusting to 23 mph in the morning helped keep vultures from Salt
Creek, but Bob Norton did see 68 from Ediz Hook in the late morning -
they get blown east if they even come at all when winds are sweeping
in the strait from the west.

Had a ruffed grouse at Norton's early Saturday morning. Neat bird, up close.
