Subject: [Tweeters] Paradise/Panorama Pt. birding

On the way to Walla Walla over the weekend, I spent about 3 hours Friday and again Sunday at Paradise on Mt. Rainier, hiking up to Panorama Pt. I was hoping for ptarmigan but didn't have any luck. However, on Sunday I got a quick, close look at a flock of about 15 Gray-crowned Rosy-Finches and also a single pallid subspecies Horned Lark. Lots of pipits were around both days.
