I was up on White's Ridge west of Yakima in the Ahtanum State Forest today. In about two hours, we saw a good diversity of raptors migrating. They were riding up thermals rising from the southside of the ridge, then when the thermal ended, would streak south as they gradually dropped altitude and out of sight. Here is what we saw while doing our normal work:

Golden Eagle - 1 (Immature)
Bald Eagle - 1 (adult)
Cooper's Hawk - 4
Red-tailed Hawk - 1
Sharp-shinned Hawk - 1
Unidentified Accipiter - 1

We also saw a group of about 10-15 Mountain Bluebirds flying very high and calling and headed south, obviously migrating also. Other birds of note at this 6100 ft elevation sight:

Red-breasted Nuthatch
Mountain Chickadee
Golden-crowned Kinglet
Clark's Nutcracker (at least 8)
Steller's Jay
Gray Jay
Common Raven (very common)
American Robin (1 large flock of about 20 birds flying just over tree top)
Dark-eyed Junco
1 dead immature Golden-crowned Sparrow smooshed on a jeep trail
Cassin's Finch (1 female)
Red Crossbill (1 large flock of about 15 birds)
Evening Grosbeak (individuals occassionally flying over and calling)
