I first learned of four letter codes for birds a few years ago when trying
to decipher a report on Tweeters. I had to do some research and found the
list and printed it out. I have found it to be very useful for labeling my
pictures for storage. I don't use them on Tweeters out of consideration but
I'm glad someone did.
