Hi again Tweeters,
I was sitting by the back window of our house today reading when I heard some curious sounds outside that quickly got my attention. When I finally got onto the back deck and looked up I saw a flock of about 25 SNOW GEESE flying in formation overhead! I was thoroughly surprised. It was really a great sight. They flew in a wide circle in the sky before they finally disappeared into the western horizon. Further more, earlier in the evening I was out in the yard again chatting with my Dad when a MERLIN streaked by in hot pursuit of a Robin. I didn't see how the chase ended up though. So, who ever said you need to leave the house in order to see interesting bird life? This has been a really great couple of weeks for new yardbirds.
Happy birding,
