On Friday evening a small flock of Snow Geese flew over our house in West Seattle. I heard them when I stepped outside around 9 PM. At the time I wasn't sure what kind of geese they were - maybe Cacklers or White-fronts
I thought. Then, as I looked up I saw an open V-shaped line of white birds
go over, perhaps 500 or 1,000 feet up (very hard to estimate).

I noticed later that another Tweeterite saw geese over Brier (north
of Seattle) on Friday and that they are showing up in the Skagit already.

Its nice to have them back, and even more fun to encounter them on
migration through the central sound area.
