Greetings Tweeters,

I just stepped outside to shake some rugs (house
cleaning on my day off...yuck...)and two large flocks
of Snow Geese were flying over, making lots of
racket.(I'm in Warm Beach, just 5 miles south of
Stanwood). One flock was to the NE and the other a
bit to the SW of my place. It was a wonderful sight
and sound. Made my day!

I also had a male (judging from size) Sharp-shinned
Hawk at the bird feeder this morning. The birds
vanished quickly. He hid out in a nearby apple tree
for a while then flew away.
