Hello
today at brackets landing along with the gulls, herons, surf scoters, and
grebes(horned and red-necked) there were either one or two black scoters.
they/it was/were hanging out north of the rock peninsula and fairly close to
shore. off in the distance i could see a loon but it was to far away to ID.
also some mergansers that i glimpsed but couldn't ID. all this happened at
about noon.
