While photographing today at the Arboretum (near the UW campus, outside
Seattle, WA), I noticed one or perhaps two Bald Eagles transportting nesting
material. This started around 8:56AM and I did not see them again after
9:21AM. They were pulling branches and other material from nearby trees and
were flying toward the visitors center. I was in the parking lot nearest to
the Country Club, and the trees blocked my view, so they could have been
travelling much further than that. I did not take the time to scout around
for the new nest.

I took several photographs, but knew that the quality would be very poor due
to the overcast sky. If you're interested in viewing these photos, please
let me know.
