Greetings All

Sorry for the delay. The usual sparrow hotspots around Everett and Snohomish
were hopping with birds yesterday. The rarest bird was a Grasshopper Sparrow
on private property. Sorry. I am mentioning its presence as a point of
interest.

There was also a Swamp Sparrow along Home Acres Road. After exiting of US2,
take Home Acres Road until you hit a long north-south stretch. Past the the
first house on the left, there is a field on the right. It was with a nice mixed
flock (including Lincoln's, GC, Song, Fox), and there was a Virginia Rail
calling from a narrow roadside ditch!

No White-throateds or Harris's.

Finally, in the cemetery in Everett near the corner of 41st and Broadway,
there was a late Western Tanager (and quite a nice number of Sooty Fox Sparrows
and Ruby-crowned Kinglets -- I suspect the latter were migrating through
yesterday, as they seemed everywhere).

Cheers
