Marc and Marian,

The webbing IS continuous from toe to toe. It is
lobed in coots and some other birds but in Wood Ducks
it is continuous. The toes are yellow with dark bands
and the webbing between them is dark as can be seen in

Interestingly (or not), I saw and photographed a Wood
Duck x Mallard hybrid over the weekend and it had the
orange feet of the Mallard parent.
