Yes, Great-horned Owls (GHOW) do take much larger prey than Barred Owls. They will even take prey as large as Mallard Ducks and Jackrabbits, as previously mentioned. Of course, skunks also are a portion of GHOW diets as most probably know. They don't get their name "tiger of the woods" for nothing.
