Just as today's rain was stopping I was able to get over to the Fill. Some of the highlights......

American Pipits, a flock of 10 at the main pond, and two more on the gravel path nearby.
1 Western Meadowlark.
3 Long-billed Dowitchers trying to hide at the main pond.
12 Wood Ducks, scattered in pairs around the Fill.
1 Northern Shrike, that let me have a very good look. I decided to take a second turn around the Fill, which in my experience is always a good idea....then I saw my Shrike.
