Subject: [Tweeters] Twanoh - Surf Scoter and Possible Red-necked Grebe

This morning, at 10am, I stopped briefly at Twanoh
State Park (Belfair, WA) and observed 4 SURF SCOTER (3
male, 2 female) feeding off the gravel point.
Overhead, flew a flock (about 12-15) of what looked to
be RED-NECKED GREBE (red necks, white wing patches).
Also observed were 2 CHUM SALMON fighting their way up
the Twanoh Creek river.
