Greetings All

With the wind howling out of the NW in Everett, I ran down to Edmonds to find
it windless and drizzly. The wind and sun came, and with them a Leach's
Storm-Petrel which hung out for a few minutes before heading off to the south. Also
5 fly-by Ancient Murrlets in 3 groups, all heading south. Lots of migrant
waterfowl, dabblers and sea ducks alike. Most interesting for Snoho County were 2
Long-tailed Ducks. Also had 30+ Cacklers fly over, probably Tavs.

Yesterday, there was a Cattle Egret on Fir Island on the n. side of Fir I. Rd
just w. of the Snow Goose preserve. At the Warm Beach Christian Center, near
the Canoe Launch, were two Great Egrets. At Skagit WMA headquarters loop
trail, there were two WT Sparrows and one Swamp Sparrow.

Cheers
