Subject: [Tweeters] Montlake Fill -Oct 29

I took a quick stroll around the Montlake Fill this afternoon. It seems as though the cold front pushed in new migrants. Highlights included a female LONG-TAILED DUCK, way out in front of the east side of the Arboretum. There was a male and female REDHEAD with the coots, wigeon, and other waterfowl in the flock, behind the exposed island where the cormorants perch. There were two CACKLING GEESE (minima) and three GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE (1 ad, 2 juv) with the Canada Geese.

Good birding,
