Hello All,

The water level of Lake Wallula behind McNary Dam has been in the 339 range since late August with only three days below 339.0. The folks in the Tri-Cities always want high water for boating and recreation. While fish folks want high water for salmon recovery and smolt protection. Power production output is now higher as is demand. So migratory birds get very little attention up ageist the above mentioned competeing uses. Before salmon recovery became an industry the Walla Walla River delta was exposed for most of the month of August into early September.
