Kerri and Tweeters,
I had a family get together years ago just prior to Halloween. We carved
pumpkins and had a great time. I scooped all the pumpkin seeds and inside
membranes into a big Tupperware bowl. Got busy, left it out on the deck and to my
delight the Stellar's Jays flew in and tossed the membrane all over the deck
in search of the tasty seeds. They just knew what a find they had. I did
spread some cardboard around to make the cleaning easier but what fun it was
watching them. Sure beat sorting, cleaning and roasting the seeds for my own
munching.
