OK, so I really wont give my (little) kingdom. It is
a good line though.

I was there.
I saw the bird.
I have since seen photos by:
Ken Meyer
Ruth and Patrick Sullivan

I would like to see additional photos.
I would like to learn.
I am not vested in my opinion that it is a Snowy.
I have been wrong a lot -- in public and in private.
I am more interested in learning from those of you
that know so much more than I do.

I have seen only 2 Little Blue Herons in my life (both
adults).
All my Snowy Egret views have been adults, or
dismissed as adults without looking or even knowing
that I should be looking further.

I have only now noticed / see a juvenile.

I am aware of at least two other people who have some
photos.

Please, if you have photos post a link to them.

Most of us who read OBOL and Tweeters and the like are
not experts, or like me are far from it.
Even though I get out a fair amount and post, I
consider myself an intermediate birder at best.
Most of us who read posts, do not travel much and only
bird in the NW or on the W Coast.
We read to learn.

We depend on the greater field knowledge (and book
knowledge) being publicly offered and shared.

You are respected by so many of us you Expert Birders.
I could list a lot of your names, but it is easier to
ask you to share your knowledge and by doing so give
back some of what this glorious hobby has given you,
and all of us.

Create and send out positive Karma.

We go out into the field to get fresh air and have fun
birding.
We attempt to stand within earshot of anyone we think
knows more than we do.
For me that is a lot of folks I try to get close
enough to, to listen and perhaps learn from.
