I got a call this morning from a falconer named Richard Anderson reporting that he has lost an immature captive-bred "silver" Gyrfalcon last Thursday in the Stanwood, Snohomish County, WA area. It is tan on the back, white on the front and is very tame. It was seen on Fir Island in Skagit County earlier this week. Richard would really appreciate any help in trying to recover his bird.
