Hi Tweeters,

Reading about multiple Franklin's Gulls got my hopes
up to look for them. I found two this morning at Blyn
by walking past the dead end/road closed out to the
creek and then looking north. This is a bit west of
the Jamestown S'Klallum Tribal center. One was a dead
ringer for Sibley's first winter illustration. The
other was probably younger because the neck was smudgy
dark on the back and there was little contrast between
the primaries and mantle color. State bird for me and
the first time I have seen immatures.
